Erica was six years old when she first got the message: before she could be loved, she needed to be fixed. She spent the next twenty-six years testing that theory. Mostly through a truly unhinged amount of Googling and chasing advice from people who'd never once wondered if they were enough.

 

Now she's 32, trying to navigate the complexities of love (on purpose) for the first time in her life, by asking people the questions she used to ask a search bar.
